Sept. 24th – Portland

September 23rd – 24th, 2017

Portland, OR

Portland, Oregon

PORTLAND!!

After saying goodbye to our friends at Gentle Giant Meadows Ranch we drove South to Portland, Oregon.  We spent a brief day exploring a trendy “hipster” neighborhood, seeing a few Portlandia filming locations, and eating crazy doughnuts.

To start things off we checked out the feminist bookstore that is featured in several episodes of the hit show, Portlandia.  In real life, it really is a feminist bookstore.

Laura is a big fan of Portlandia.
Saw this hanging up in the bookstore. Seems like good words to live by.

We then made our way over to the very hip and trendy Alberta street.  A street lined with restaurants, boutiques, and a lot of amazing street art.  It was a pretty cool street, but we felt pretty uncool.

Anyways, here are some photos…

Rick and Morty fans.
Found this amazing garden shop. Lots of inspiration!

We love tiny free libraries, especially when they love Manatees.

We think there is an ATM in there.

How about a taco for your cat?
This store is one of the best shops ever. It’s all about cats! Stuff for your cat and stuff for you, like art and t-shirts with cats on it. http://www.roarportland.com/
